I have returned! Or, at least I am trying to. So sorry for all the missed posts, but I did have a horrible chain of cluster migraines that put me down hard last month. I even got to have an MRI! So not fun, but upside is I’ve already got the results back and everything looks clear. Added bonus, I got to see my brain!
Okay, okay, enough of that. I’m feeling good today, plus I have some good news! Goodish news. Maybe it’s just okay news, but here goes.
I do have a good chunk of Westgate finished and ready for editing. Although I don’t always write linear, most of this is the front work of the book. The tangle that I got myself into doesn’t happened till the later chapters, and I am still working my way through that, BUT…
With Amazon’s new reading platform of Kindle Vella, I can begin to release the earlier chapters that I’ve already finished. Keep in mind that these chapters have only gone through my edit, so there may be more than a few typos and possibly even some continuity errors. All of that will be fixed before the full book is released, but at least this gets the work and story out there.
I’ve taken a look at Kindle Vella, and it looks somewhat… weird on a browser, but works fine on mobile. Take a look here.
So, my plan at this time is to get a chapter up every Tuesday. I did try that this week, but there was a delay on the Amazon review process that I didn’t account for, so it didn’t go live until today. I will keep that in mind moving forward.
That’s all I have for today! No review since I’ve just been rewatching Jane the Virgin, but that new series on Netflix has caught my eye… The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window, staring Kristen Bell. Guys… how can I not watch this one? That title alone is pretty much everything I could ask for in a show.
